When this website, The Quiet Storm at TheQuietStorm.Com, first began in June 2022, the idea was to present real jazz, jazz inspired funk, rock & soul, the finest R&B, jazz fusion and experimental music. 

Today, The Quiet Storm is very pleased to present an experimental jazz trio known as The Messthetics, consisting of Anthony Pirog on guitar, Joe Lally on bass and Brendan Canty on drums. Their most recent project features tenor saxophonist James Brandon Lewis on their February 2026 album release titled Let's Deface The Currecny.
